When you’ve got the gang round and are dissecting your cheese board, invariably a Brie vs Camembert debate will crop up. At CG, we like to not only solve these headaches but bring people together in the process...in actual fact Camembert probably started its life as Brie. Shock, horror! For the ease of transportation, the French started making smaller sized Bries but inadvertently, this gave the cheese a different taste profile - it ripened faster and became slightly sharper.

Both are great (it’s cheese) but with Camembert you get a slightly more rugged, punchy bitter mushroom twang, compered to perhaps the more creamy, easy going nature of a Brie.Plus, a little known fact, Camembert is known as the only cheese to coax bears out of caves. Fact (ish). Our Come-on-bear is 250g.

Delivery is FREE and it comes in a climate control box (the only in the industry) that comes with a 48 hour freshness guarantee. During checkout, you will be able to select your preferred delivery date. This is great if you're buying as a gift or are organising your cheese in advance. The cheese will be packed in chilled, insulated boxes (that look great!) and will always be prepared on the day it is dispatched. A few other handy pointers:

- We use DHL nationwide and Packfleet within the M25

- Please use the delivery date you have selected as a guide rather than a guarantee.

- Your cheese will arrive in the best condition. It will have been prepared freshly and will not have been with our courier beyond our maximum of 48hrs

- You will receive delivery notifications for when your order is dispatched that mean you can track when it’s in transit

If you aren’t in for your delivery, this won’t matter. Our couriers will leave your cheese in you designated safe place in our climate controlled packaging.
